Vmware won't start on Edgy Eft

After upgrading to Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft (beta), vmware fails to start.

Problem outlined here: libhal1 0.5.7.1-0ubuntu8 with new dbus breaks vmware.

Comment #4 solves it.
